Western North Carolina is home to some of the best Whitewater Kayaking in the country, and Green River Adventures ia located in the heart of it all! This perfect location means many things...but most importantly it means we are able to provide wonderful paddling opportunities for everyone - no matter what skill level!

We hope you will find this page useful in planning a trip to meet (and exceed) your expectations. We have suggested some of our favorite spots to stay and eat in the area. So whether you are looking for a lavish resort or a peaceful mountaintop for camping, great restaurants or cooking your own meals over the camp stove...we have provided some helpful suggestions to point you in the right direction. Saluda, North Carolina

Saluda is not only the most convenient to the Green River, where our Outfitter's Shop is located and most of our Introduction to Kayaking clinics are held, it is also one of the most charming mountain towns in the area. Just a couple of minutes from downtown, it is a wonderful spot especially if your trip with Green River Adventures has an early start.
