River Guide

Full-time: Memorial Day-Labor Day.

Part-time: May, September, and October.

Our Whitewater Guides are responsible for guiding participants in Inflatable Kayaks down the Lower (Class I-II) and Upper (Class II-IV) sections of the Green River. Guides are expected to be comfortable on Class IV Whitewater. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required; WFR and Swiftwater Rescue certifications are preferred. Pay is assessed per trip and increases with certifications.

 

Whitewater Kayak Instructor

We hire professional instructors to teach beginner to advanced, private whitewater kayaking clinics. Current WFR, CPR, and Swiftwater Rescue certifications are required. Instructors are expected to have ACA Level IV Whitewater Kayak Instructor certification or significant professional experience. Pay is assessed per clinic and increases with certifications.

 

Waterfall Rappel Guide

Full-time: Memorial Day-Labor Day.

Part-time: May and September.

Our Rappel Guides are responsible for facilitating participants on a variety of intermediate to advanced waterfall rappelling, canyoneering, and amphibious hiking adventures. Rappel guides are expected to have climbing/rappelling experience and be comfortable with rope systems. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required. Trip Leaders are required to have a WFR. Pay is assessed per trip and increases with certifications.

 

Retail/Reservations

Full-time: April 29th- October 29th

Retail and Reservation staff are responsible for answering phones, booking services, checking in participants, and operating the Point of Sale system at the Green River Adventures outpost. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable with computers, and have a laid-back, friendly personality. Pay is assessed hourly.

 

Driver/Logistics

Full-time: Memorial Day-Labor Day.

Part-time: May, September, and October.

Drivers are responsible for transporting guests in 15-passenger vans to and from activities. Drivers are expected to load and unload trailers, help carry boats, and engage with clients. Applicants must have a clean driving record and be comfortable backing a trailer.

Logistics personnel are responsible for preparing boats and gear, load and unload trailers, carry boats, and assist in trip logistics. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills and have good time management.

Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required. Pay is assessed hourly.
